Elon Musk dreamed to go to Mars I dreamed of getting to Istanbul Fashion Week
Hi, my name is Aidina Urustava, I am a student, a young designer, from Bishkek city, in my city I have not missed a single fashion show. I moved to Istanbul, and since for three years could not get to in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week , everything is different here, if in my city you can just buy a ticket for the show, of your favorite designer a month before, and think about what to wear, that’s different in Istanbul, you need to get invitations, and the places aren’t for sale !!! Although I did the scouting and figured out another way how to get to the show without invitation of not very famous designers, I will write about it below.
This year I decided to write and call everyone, the show organizers, brands, designers, bloggers, even models; nobody gave me the exact answer how to do it. But dreams come true, you know yes? There are kind people in this world who will see ambitions in you, a passion for fashion, a crazy dreamer, a passion for their own profession, and these kind people are angels who embody dreams. Fashion week started I almost gave up that again it was not fate to plunge into the fashion industry, into this wonderful magical atmosphere of beauty and style.
I sat at work leafing through the tape on instagram, I saw a photo schedule of the fashion week ,in “Fashionziner” page, by the way, I already turned to them on the same issue in 2018, but this year I was lucky, I sent a dramatic message about how important it is to me get on the show. And V-o-I-l-a , they are replied and sent a contact of the person who created the fashion portal, this was the angel who embodied the dreams of a young designer, and get me invitations to the show of “Exquise” brand, and I flew to heaven with happiness, would you think that I exaggerate? Not at all, and in fact it was so important for me to plunge into the fashion industry.
The collection of women’s clothing from the brand «Exquise”was wonderful, a little vintage and the song from (Fun Fun – Happy station) of 1984 seemed to have been created specifically for this collection of clothes. The brand was created in 2008, and became popular with feminine dresses, among young women, and continues to amaze and conquer its customers with its feminine, mysteriously sexy style.
From the show I especially noticed for myself , flared trousers and a gently pink satin blouse, in the 70s style, and a dress in a cage, with sleeves lanterns, especially the trend of this summer, although now everything is fashionable, clothes from the 70s are complemented by accessories from the 50s and 80s, reworked in modern style 2019, we live in times of fast fashion, fashion is changing rapidly and has a shelf life.
After the show, I met with different people working in the field of fashion, photographers, models, editors of fashion magazines, which is very important for a young designer’s career to build relationships and connections in this area. Also, if you are a foreigner like me or a person who just loves fashion, student designer and you have no acquaintances or friends from the fashion sphere, just put on a maximum bright and stylish and go to the address where the fashion week is held. In the core room you can wait until the last minutes before the show, and if they have a extra ticket you can get in show, as I understood this is only possible for shows of little known designers. Anyway you can spend a wonderful time among stylish and bright people and make new acquaintances. I would advise young designers also who crazy in love with their profession like me, to attend such shows and events, it inspires, you will find new friends and learn a lot of new things from the world of fashion. And become a part of it.
Believe in yourself, despite the fact that nowadays there are millions of brands and billions of designers, you will be found by your people and your customers who will be in love with your art. And if there is a passion, you will definitely build your own fashion empire !!!
